Ordering

Is there an order deadline?
At Eat Train Live, we want to ensure that we are preparing the freshest meals possible for you. Due to this, orders must be placed by 6:00pm on Thursdays to receive your meals the following Monday. Any order placed after 6:00pm on Thursday will be processed the following week and delivered the subsequent Sunday.

Your meals for each week are delivered in two batches – Sunday evening and on Wednesday evening.


When will my order be processed?
Payments are processed every Friday regardless of your order date. Once your order is processed, you will receive your delivery on the following Monday.

What are my payment options?
Payments are processed online using Credit Card.

What is your Cancellation/Refund Policy?

Cancellations:
At Eat Train Live, we understand that sometimes things come up! If you are on a weekly subscription for meals and wish to cancel or put a hold on your plan, simply send us an email by Thursday at 6:00pm to ensure that your payment isn’t processed. As all our meals are prepared fresh to order (and we hate wasting food!), any cancellations or hold requests sent after 6:00pm on Thursday will be processed the following week.

Refunds:
We are committed to providing you with great service and quality products. Our fresh ingredients are ordered upon payment. As such, if you fail to cancel/hold your subscription or do not pick up your meals, unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued.

Where does Eat Train Live source its food?
At Eat Train Live, we believe in supplying you with high quality fresh ingredients! Our food is locally sourced, antibiotic and hormone-free. We use items sourced from ethical farmers, independent growers and reputable distributers. Learn more about where our food comes from on the About Our Food page!

How do I heat my meals?
Stove Top/Oven/Toaster Oven: For best result it is recommend that you remove your meal from its packaging and heat in a pan on your stovetop or place in your oven or toaster oven in oven-safe cookware.

Microwave: Meals are cooked and conveniently packaged in microwave-safe containers – simply heat and enjoy. To heat meals in microwave, lift one side of the lid and heat for 60-90 seconds (timing may vary depending on your microwave).

If your meals contain additional packaged sauces and sides or fruit, ensure that you remove these items prior to heating.


How long do the meals last?
Your meals should be consumed within 3 days of delivery. We do not use any preservatives in our meals in order to preserve the nutrient integrity of our ingredients.

I have a food allergy or sensitivity; can I customize my meal plan?
Allergies are tricky business; please contact us with your individual concern and our Naturopathic Doctor will contact you to discuss your needs.

Are your meals free of Gluten, Dairy and Soy?
While all of our ingredients are gluten, dairy and soy free, we do prepare our meals in a kitchen that has not been deemed gluten/dairy/soy free. As such, we cannot guarantee that cross contamination has not occurred.

When do you Deliver?
Deliveries are twice per week:

Delivery #1 Sunday between 5PM-10PM
  
Delivery #2 Wednesday between 5PM-10:30 PM


How are my meals delivered?
All of our items arrive in recyclable, plastic containers, both of which are microwave-safe. We suggest that you refrigerate your meals immediately upon delivery. If for some reason you aren’t available, we recommend you arrange for someone to be available to pick up your order as we only make one delivery attempt.

What if I live in an apartment or condominium?
If you reside in an apartment or condominium, please arrange with your security desk/concierge to allow for deliveries to be made. We will only make one attempt at delivery and if this is not successful, give us a call at (647) 975-7976 to make arrangements to pick up your order.
